The Shaobo Iron Ox, cast during the Qing Dynasty’s Kangxi period, is an iron artifact shaped like an ox for the purpose of water control. Originally located on the east side of the riverbank along the old street, it has now been relocated to the north side of the Douye Pavilion. The ancient pavilion and the rockery complement each other, surrounded on three sides by green trees and clear waters, with the fragrance of flowers blooming in all seasons. For those who visit Shaobo, the Douye Pavilion and the Iron Ox are must-see attractions. It is open all year round and accessible 24 hours a day.
