Shazhang Village is an old village with a history of 700 years. A mysterious burial group, an extremely rare surname, and a poignant history together form Shazhang Village. Shazhang Village is not large in area, with a circumference of only about one kilometer. There are more than 170 households and more than 600 people living in the village. But the vast majority of people still live in old houses that are a hundred years old. Choose a sunny afternoon and wander among the mottled and eroded village houses. Time is truly flowing backwards.

The residents in this village have an extremely rare surname: Xie (xiè). According to research, their ancestors came from the distant Uyghur. Since the generation of Hala Puhua in the Yuan Dynasty, they have lived here for generations. For more than 700 years, 32 generations of descendants have multiplied, and a large burial group of ancient ethnic minority officials rarely seen in China has been formed.

People with the surname Xie are spread in many places at home and abroad. In 1999, when the Harapu Hua tomb in Shazhang Village was rebuilt, whether it was Yunnan or Anhui, or even the Xie family in South Korea far away, they all gathered in Shazhang Village from various places to search for their roots and return to their ancestors. On September 4, 2002, the gray-haired elderly man Xie Zaizhi in South Korea also rushed to Shazhang Village to worship his ancestors despite the dust and fatigue. Open all year round and open all day.
