Shenhua Temple in Jiangyin is named after the homophonic words of “Shunhu” in the local historical ancient bridge “Shunhu Bridge”. It is located at the original site of Zizhu Nunnery and City God Temple on Taiqing River in Yuqiao Village, Xinqiao Town, Jiangyin City, Jiangsu Province. Its history can be traced back to 1600, the 28th year of Wanli in the Ming Dynasty. There are buildings such as the Heavenly King Hall, Guanyin Hall, Mahavira Hall, Sutra Depository, Bell and Drum Tower, dining hall and dormitory, presenting a style of the Tang and Song dynasties. Opening hours: Open from 07:00 to 16:00 all year round.
