Sheshan International Golf Club is located in the Sheshan National Tourism Resort in Songjiang District, Shanghai. It is a comprehensive vacation project themed around golf sports, offering exclusive sports leisure and vacation living experiences and services.
This site is also the birthplace of the World Championship – the HSBC Champions, which has been successfully held for seven consecutive editions. In 2009, the event was upgraded to a World Championship, and in 2013, it was included in the PGA Tour schedule.
The club’s golf course stretches to 7025 yards, with a standard 18-hole 72-par layout, designed by globally renowned golf course designers Nelson & Haworth. It is a forest hill-type course with mountains at its back and water at its front.
The course features natural and cultural landscapes such as a thousand-year-old ginkgo tree, wooden bridges, and quarry ruins. Other attractions include uniquely shaped fairways, well-maintained turf, unexpected sand traps, and challenging water hazards, all of which draw golf enthusiasts from around the world.
For them, Sheshan Golf is a venue where they can fully enjoy the charm of golf.
