In the northeastern mountainous area of She County, there are dozens of quaint villages hidden deep within, and Shi Tan Village is one of them, being relatively close to the outside world. The deeper you venture from Shi Tan Village, the more beautiful and wild the scenery becomes. Villages are connected by a single narrow path. When spring arrives, the hills are covered with rapeseed flowers and pear blossoms in full bloom, creating an overwhelming beauty. Due to inconvenient transportation, Shi Tan Village is rarely visited by tourists, making it an ideal place for photography and sketching. Shi Tan Ancient Village still retains two ancient ancestral halls. One of them, known as the model of ancient ancestral halls – Xu Lun Hall, was built during the Jiajing period of the Ming Dynasty, with a history of over 400 years. It features 100 beams, a spectacle in the history of Chinese architecture, earning the nickname ‘Hall of a Hundred Beams’. It is open all year round, accessible 24/7, with specific business status subject to daily opening conditions.
