Shimen Mountain is located 12 kilometers north of Yanqi Lake in Huairou District, covering an area of 5,000 acres. The scenic area is known for its peculiar mountains and strange rocks, with gurgling springs all year round, waterfalls descending from the sky, and a magnificent atmosphere. It also features unique natural landscapes such as the Shimen Cave, Thunder-Struck Cliff, Copper Mountain Iron Wall, and Sister Springs.
Since ancient times, Shimen Mountain has been a well-known tourist and Buddhist destination. The mountain’s rocks are particularly striking, with attractions like the Pearl Containing Terrace, Jade Mirror, Lotus Rock, and Rolling Dan Slope, which are part of the 24 scenic spots of Shimen Mountain. The mountain is home to a variety of trees from 33 families and 146 species, creating a unique ‘natural oxygen bar’. Open all year round from 08:00 to 18:00. Preferential policies include: 1.
