The five-level and six-sided stone pagoda built in the Tang Dynasty was originally in the ancient Mulan Courtyard and is now standing in the newly opened green space in the center of Wenchang Road. There are 26 relief Buddha statues in the stone niches of the pagoda body, with Tang Dynasty style. A ginkgo tree on the side of the pagoda is a famous ancient tree in Yangzhou and has a history of a thousand years. Legend: There is a story of Wang Bo and the post-meal bell of Mulan Courtyard here. In ‘Collected Anecdotes of the Tang Dynasty’ by Wang Dingbao of the Five Dynasties: ‘Wang Bo was orphaned and poor when he was young. He once stayed as a guest at Mulan Courtyard of Huizhao Temple in Yangzhou. He had meals with the monks. The monks were tired of him. When Wang Bo arrived, they had already finished their meals.’ Later, it refers to being coldly treated due to poverty. In Su Shi’s ‘Shita Temple’: ‘Then one knows the post-meal bell. Yanli is truly discerning.’ Opening hours: Open all day throughout the year. The specific opening hours are subject to the actual situation of the scenic spot on that day.
