Shouxian Valley is a canyon landscape transitioning from Danxia to volcanic rock formations. Though small, this valley is like an exquisite and precious jade, serene and tranquil like a secluded paradise. The scenic area features towering cliffs, peculiar peaks, and unique stones, with rocks leaning on each other and bamboos standing close, resembling the bamboo and rock paintings by Mr. Zheng Banqiao.
The most enchanting feature is the Jiutian Waterfall, with a drop of 120 meters, where the upper part is like smoke and mist, and the lower part pours like pearls and rain, resembling a white silk ribbon winding through the valley. During the hot summer, enjoying the scenery and escaping the heat in the canyon, or even rafting and playing in the water, is a great pleasure. Located in the central part of Wuyi County, Zhejiang, known as the ‘hometown of hot springs,’ ‘ecological hometown,’ and ‘forest park,’ Shouxian Valley offers views of the ‘World’s First Wine Pot’ – Zuixian Rock, appreciates the ‘World’s First Natural Longevity’ – Cliff Inscriptions, climbs the ‘First Overhanging Ladder in East China’ – Sky Ladder, and tastes the gifts from the Old Longevity Star – Pearls from the Pearl Garden.
