Shuanglong Cave

Shuanglong Cave in Jinhua is located 8 kilometers away from the city center, situated on the southern slope of Beishan at an altitude of 350-450 meters. Apart from the lower level Shuanglong Cave, there are also the middle level Binghu Cave and the higher level Chaozhen Cave. Shuanglong Cave is divided into an inner and outer cave, with a distance of only 5 meters between them, separated by a huge stone screen, leaving a subterranean river channel that is more than 10 meters long and over 3 meters wide. The water surface of the channel is only about 0.30 meters away from the top of the underground river’s limestone, requiring visitors to enter the inner cave by lying flat in a small boat.

The outer cave is tall and bright, with a height of over 66 meters, and a length and depth of 33 meters each, covering an area of more than 1200 square meters. Inside the cave, there are rows of stone tables and chairs, capable of accommodating thousands of people to enjoy tea and escape the heat. The cave is open year-round from 08:30 to 16:40, with specific business status subject to the day’s opening conditions.
