Shuangshan Golf Club, located on Shuangshan Island in Zhangjiagang City, Jiangsu, is the first standard competition-level golf course in Zhangjiagang and its surrounding areas such as Nantong, Changzhou, and Jiangyin. The golf course covers an area of 1,377 mu, with 18 holes and a standard 72 par, offering a total fairway length of 7,269 yards. Surrounded by water on all sides, it is a rare island-type golf course in China.
One-third of the golf course is occupied by artificial lakes, featuring large plum blossom-shaped bunkers and undulating greens. Shuangshan Golf Club officially opened on October 16, 2003. The club’s main building occupies an area of 3,700 square meters, housing Chinese and Western restaurants, a café, multi-function meeting rooms, a business center, changing rooms, and a golf shop. Additionally, there are six types of landscape villas and a guest center with 41 rooms, accommodating 100-150 people at the same time. The Celebrity Club (Entertainment Center), with an area of 1,100 square meters, includes multi-function meeting rooms (capable of hosting various meetings for 50-100 people), VIP sauna rooms, KTV, chess and card rooms, beauty salons, snooker rooms, ping-pong rooms, and a disco hall.
