Shuangshan Island is an island in the Yangtze River waters to the northwest of Zhangjiagang City. The total area of the whole island is 16 square kilometers. The rivers on the island form a network and the trees are shady. It is one of the islands in the middle and lower reaches of the Yangtze River where the original ecological environment is well preserved. There are tourist projects such as Shuangshan Island Resort, an 18-hole international standard golf course and a fishing center on the island. The resort is divided into six functional areas: central service area, hydrophilic leisure park, conference resort area, research and development park (including agricultural ecological park), water town community. The hydrophilic leisure park mainly has entertainment projects such as lotus ponds, reed marshes, camping sites, fishing centers, and plant schools to meet the needs of public leisure and entertainment. Shuangshan Fishing Bay is equipped with leisure places such as fishing, picnicking, catering, and entertainment. There are also sports projects such as racecourses and beach baths. Tourists can ride bicycles or boats or ride horses freely, walk on the river island, enjoy the river and sky, breathe in the natural oxygen bar, and feel the charm of the river island.
