Shui Xin Pavilion is located in the Xiyuan section of He Garden, with a central pond and the pavilion situated right in the middle of it. Ingeniously utilizing the acoustics of the water surface and corridors, it enhances the resonance of music. The pavilion serves as a place for the garden owner to enjoy opera, dance, and to cool off. Over a hundred films and TV series, including ‘Dream of the Red Chamber’, ‘Bi Sheng’, and ‘Green, Green Grass by the Riverbank’, have used it as a filming location. It is open all year round, 24 hours a day, with specific business hours subject to daily conditions.
