Suzhou Shuixian Ecological Cultural Garden is located within the modern agricultural science and technology demonstration park on the southeast bank of Chenghu Lake in Suzhou City. The 1800-acre ‘Shuixian’ growing plants are like pieces of jade inlaid within the garden.
Suzhou Shuixian Ecological Cultural Garden focuses on the theme of ‘planting, harvesting, observing, learning’ and interactive picking of Shuixian. The first phase of the project includes youth Shuixian science education, ‘Shuixian’ specialty food culture experience, ecological restaurants, family leisure vacation, corporate team expansion, and sports fitness activities. It has become an ecological park for experiencing agricultural fun and enjoying the charm of Jiangnan water, making it a good choice for family leisure, expansion training, and vacation.
The current open attractions and projects in the first phase of Suzhou Shuixian Ecological Cultural Garden include: Suzhou Chenghu Shuixian Science Exhibition Hall, Wetland Science Corridor, Lotus Field, Peacock Garden, Shuixian Botanical Garden, Insect Pavilion, Horse Racing Track, Amphibious Vehicle, Fishing Platform, Smart Agriculture, Peach Blossom Island, Lohas Island, Taiwan Food Area (Jinglin Island), Shuixian Germplasm Resource Garden, and Qingxian Building Shuixian Specialty Food Experience.
Opening hours: 08:30-17:30 all year round.
Preferential policies: Children under 1.2 meters (including 1.2 meters) are free; minors aged 6 (excluding 6) to 18 (including 18) enjoy half-price tickets; full-time university undergraduate and below students enjoy half-price tickets; seniors aged 70 (including 70) and above are free; seniors aged 60 (including 60) to 70 (excluding 70) enjoy half-price tickets with valid documents; active military personnel and retired military officers of the People’s Republic of China are free; disabled persons and one accompanying person for severely disabled persons are free with valid ID.
