The ecological restoration project of Shuyang County – Han Mountain Park is now open. Han Mountain, the only natural mountain in Shuyang County, stands at an elevation of 70 meters and is named after the Han Dynasty general Han Xin, who once trained and practiced martial arts here, leaving behind many historical stories. In the 1970s, parts of Han Mountain were damaged due to the exploitation of its blue crystal stone mines.
In recent years, Shuyang County has implemented ecological restoration projects on Han Mountain, leveraging its unique natural, historical, and cultural resources to create the Han Mountain Theme Park. The park is built on a foundation of landscape ecology, featuring Han Xin’s military culture and mining pit landscapes, integrating cultural tourism, mountain experiences, ecological science education, leisure and fitness, and entertainment functions into an open, comprehensive urban mountain park. It provides a new attraction for the public to enjoy leisure, vacation, and sightseeing. Opening hours: 08:00-18:00 all year round.
Important tips: Groups over 60 years old, and those with heart disease, high blood pressure, or other conditions not suitable for stimulating activities are not allowed to participate in the experience. Children must be accompanied by adults or parents to experience the park.
