Si Nan Mansions

Si Nan Mansions derives its name from Si Nan Road. The area began to be developed in the 1920s. Over the subsequent decade, garden houses were constructed in the region south of Lafayette Road, east of Mass南路 (now Si Nan Road), and west of Luban Road (now Chongqing South Road). This attracted a significant number of military and political figures, entrepreneurs, professionals, and renowned artists of the time, making the area a hub for high society.

Today, Si Nan Mansions is composed of 49 restored historical buildings and 9 new constructions, forming four complementary functional areas – hotel, commerce, residential, and office. Si Nan Mansions has become one of Shanghai’s historical and cultural preservation projects, embodying culture, fashion, and historical depth. Open all year round, accessible 24/7.
