The former site of the First Northern Jiangsu Political Consultative Conference was originally a Buddhist temple, which was converted into the ‘Sun Yat-sen Memorial Hall’ in 1936. The structure features a beam-supported brick and wood construction with five ridges on the roof, exhibiting a slightly Western style. The roof is covered with small tiles, and the lower part of the southern eave wall is made of blue bricks, while the upper part is embedded with glass partitions. The overall architecture maintains the basic structure from its time as a Buddhist temple and has not changed from its appearance during the convening of the First Northern Jiangsu Political Consultative Conference. The opening hours and business status are subject to the actual opening conditions of the day.
