The Songfeng Pavilion is located on the central axis of Linggu Scenic Area. It is the former site of the Lvtang (Discipline Hall) of Linggu Temple in the Ming Dynasty. The entire building is built on an ordinary platform base without a Xumizuo (a base with decorative carvings). There is no balustrade on it. The Songfeng Pavilion has two floors. Its appearance is similar to the double-eaved hip roof in ancient Chinese wooden architecture. Part of it is made of reinforced concrete structure, and its form imitates wooden architecture. It is a classic building in Linggu Scenic Area.
