Songjiang Art Museum is a modern multifunctional art museum planned and constructed with contemporary standards. It is a non-profit, permanent cultural institution dedicated to serving society and social development, and is open to the public. It is the first platform for art exchange and exhibition in our district. After its completion, many citizens of Songjiang have been able to engage closely with top-tier national exhibitions right at their doorstep.
The museum has a total construction area of approximately 4332 square meters, with 3640 square meters above ground and 692 square meters underground. It features an exhibition line of 500 meters, integrating functions such as art collection, display, academic exchange, and aesthetic education. The museum is committed to further cultivating the cultural atmosphere in Songjiang as a public welfare social venue.
Opening hours are from Tuesday to Sunday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, all year round. The museum is closed all day on Mondays, except for legal holidays.
