Songyin Zen Temple was originally Songyin Nunnery established in 1357 during the Yuan Dynasty. In 1447, the nunnery was expanded into Songyin Zen Temple. Currently, Songyin Zen Temple covers an area of 28 mu. The main buildings include Huayan Hall, Dabei Hall, Huayan Pagoda, Mahavira Hall, and Sutra Depository.
