The South Gate ruins are located to the east of the intersection of Nantong West Road and South Gate Outer Street. The existence of the South Gate ruins has clarified various claims about the southern boundary of Yangzhou’s Tang and Luo City, opened a new prelude to the archaeological research on Yangzhou city, and laid a foundation for determining the four boundaries of the Yangzhou City Ruins site. Now, in the ruins park, the ancient relics of that year are still preserved. Coupled with small bridges, flowing water and ancient buildings, it reflects the status of Yangzhou at that time.
