The Spring and Autumn Tang Garden, situated to the east of the Ming and Qing Dynasty Residential Expo City, is one of the earlier pure filming bases of Hengdian World Studios. It spans an area of over 300 acres and showcases architectural styles predominantly from the Spring and Autumn Period and the Tang Dynasty. The garden is divided into three distinct areas: the Spring and Autumn North Garden, the Spring and Autumn South Garden, and the Tang Garden. All sections were completed by the end of 2015 and made available for film crews.
From November 2016, the garden has been officially open to tourists for set visits. Notable series filmed in the Spring and Autumn South City include ‘Fuyao,’ ‘Beautiful Life,’ and ‘Alliance of the Wise.’ The Spring and Autumn North City served as the backdrop for ‘Ze Tian Ji’ and ‘Empress Dugu.’ Meanwhile, the Tang Garden was the filming location for ‘Chu Qiao Chuan’ and other series.
Visitors are welcome to explore the garden year-round, with operating hours from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM.
