Spring and Autumn Tang Garden is one of the earlier pure filming bases of Hengdian World Studios, located to the east of the Ming and Qing Dynasty Residences Exhibition City, covering an area of over 300 acres. The garden is primarily designed to replicate the architecture of the Spring and Autumn period and the Tang Dynasty, divided into three distinct areas: Spring and Autumn North Garden, Spring and Autumn South Garden, and Tang Garden. All three areas were completed and made available for film crews by the end of 2015. Starting from November 2016, it was officially opened for visitors to explore the filming locations. Series such as ‘Fuyao,’ ‘Jinxiu Weiyang,’ and ‘The Alliance of Vagabonds’ were filmed in the Spring and Autumn South Garden, while ‘Ze Tian Ji’ and ‘Empress Dugu’ were shot in the Spring and Autumn North Garden. ‘Chu Qiao Chuan’ and other productions were filmed in the Tang Garden. The garden is open to the public from 8:00 to 16:30 all year round.
