Shanghai Sun Island, originally known as Mao Island, is a magical and picturesque inland island with a long history and rich cultural heritage. Surrounded by the Mao River, Taipu River, Dianshan Lake, Huangpu River, and the Taihu Lake basin, it serves as an important landmark for ships navigating the three major waterways. Today, Sun Island has become a modern and fashionable new leisure resort. Historical figures such as Wang Anshi, Zhu Xi, and Lin Zexu have left their marks here, which are now integrated into the contemporary leisure concept, complemented by the enthusiasm of the youth.

When you need a moment for rational contemplation, visit the Mao Tower, which dates back to the Tang Dynasty. When you desire relaxation, indulge in a sauna at the island’s hot spring center. Afterward, refresh your mood and immerse yourself in the island’s entertainment. Opening hours are 9:30 AM to 4:30 PM from Monday to Friday, and 9:30 AM to 6:30 PM on weekends and holidays.
