Tiantai Mountain Scenic Area is a sun culture-focused tourist destination, integrating the cultures of the Dongyi people and experiences of the world’s five major sun civilizations. It is composed of attractions such as the Sacred Ceremony, Ancient Mysteries, Cultural Wonders, and the Experience of the Sacred Realm.
Tiantai Mountain was recognized as one of the world’s five major origins of sun culture in 2009, alongside India, Greece, Egypt, and Peru. The store within the scenic area offers products from these five countries.
The bright and shining image of the Eastern Sun City is represented by the IP characters, Minghuanghuang, a sun god bird, and Liangtangtang, the embodiment of the sun. The sun god bird protects the sun and also guards the sun culture of Tiantai Mountain.
The scenic area is open all year round from 08:30 to 21:00.
