The Yellow Sea Bridge is an ancillary project of Yangkou Port in Nantong, located on the north wing of the Yangtze River estuary, off the coast of the Yellow Sea, facing Korea and Japan across the sea. It is an ideal bridgehead for the eastern region’s strategy of ‘attracting from outside and advancing to the west’ and a super large deep-water harbor.
The Yellow Sea Bridge, stretching 12.6 kilometers, is the second largest bridge in China’s offshore area, leading directly into the depths of the sea. Tourists driving on the bridge are surrounded by the boundless ocean and blooming waves beneath, and the blue sky and circling seagulls above. The bridge connects to Sunshine Island, covering an area of 2.5 square kilometers, which is the first artificial island in the southern Yellow Sea.
Visitors can ascend to the observation deck to overlook the ocean and embrace nature. Accommodations, restaurants, bars, and tea houses are all available for tourists’ leisure and entertainment. There are also projects such as a 600-meter sea-view corridor, a fishing platform, and yacht tours around the island under construction. The opening hours and specific business status are subject to the daily opening conditions.
Preferential policies are as follows: 1. Children under 1.2 meters are admitted free of charge. 2. Children between 1.2 and 1.4 meters receive a 50% discount off the regular price. 3. The above information is for reference only and is subject to the actual disclosure of the scenic area on the day.
