Suqian Zoo is located at the eastern end of the Second Canal Bridge in Suqian City, at the heart of Suyu Modern Agricultural Industrial Park. It is a large comprehensive theme park integrating animal viewing, leisure and entertainment, and science education, becoming one of the largest zoos in the city and a significant one in Northern Jiangsu. The zoo covers an area of 496 acres. Once completed, it will not only boast beautiful scenery but also a rich variety of animal species, planning to introduce over 40 species including lions, tigers, golden cats, bears, sika deer, zebras, seals, crocodiles, and more. Operating hours are from April 1st to October 15th (summer) 08:00-17:30; and from October 16th to March 31st (winter) 08:30-17:00.
Preferential policies include free admission for children under 1.2 meters (not included); free entry for the disabled with a fourth-level (inclusive) disability certificate (must be accompanied by someone); free for active-duty military personnel with an officer’s or soldier’s ID; free for tour guides with a provincial-level guide certificate; free for journalists with a press card issued by the News Bureau; and free for disabled military personnel with relevant documents. Half-price admission is offered to children between 1.2 meters (inclusive) and 1.4 meters (exclusive) in height; seniors aged 60 (inclusive) to 70 (exclusive) with valid ID; teachers with a teacher’s certificate (only on Teacher’s Day); full-time primary, middle, and high school students (excluding adult education and graduate students) with a student ID; and the disabled with a disability certificate below the fourth level (not inclusive).

There are multiple restrooms located near the visitor center and to the right of the main entrance outside the park. The restaurant is not open to the public and is for staff only.
