Suzhou Aquarium is a large comprehensive aquarium that includes three themed sections: the aquarium, the diving hall, and the ocean theater. Here, visitors can not only admire the colorful marine life from the world’s major oceans and watch exciting animal performances but also venture into the diving hall for an intimate encounter with the fish.
One of the features of Suzhou Aquarium is the display of freshwater fish from the Yangtze River and Taihu Lake basins. This is the only freshwater exhibition area in China that focuses on fish from the Yangtze and Taihu lakes, including nationally protected species such as the Chinese sturgeon and the Yangtze alligator.

In the marine life exhibition area, visitors can see rare marine creatures from the Red Sea, Indian Ocean, South Pacific, and other major oceans around the world. Walking through the long, circular transparent tunnel feels like diving into the ocean, with endless surprises.
