The Suzhou Art Institute was established in 1999 and has withstood a decade of challenges, always adhering to the philosophy of ‘preserving historical charm and reshaping the splendor of Wu region’. The institute is primarily engaged in the creation of Chinese and oil paintings, artistic theory research, education, promotion, and exchange. It maintains a unique development model, implementing a new ‘trinity’ operation model that includes the art institute, artists, and a cultural brokerage company.
The Suzhou Art Institute Museum, a subordinate institution of the Suzhou Art Institute, was founded on October 18, 2009, and is located on the beautiful Jinji Lake in Suzhou, with an exhibition area of over 2500 square meters. It houses the Suzhou Art Institute Art Lecture Hall, multifunctional conference rooms, VIP reception rooms, calligrapher and painter studios, and artistic theory research studios.
The museum is open year-round from 9:00 to 17:30.
