The newly established Suzhou Art Museum is located to the northwest of Beici Pagoda, facing Renmin Road to the east, and bordering the Peach Blossom River to the west. It is bounded by the Xiaochangqiao Road to the north and serves as a new cultural landmark on the northern section of Renmin Road, a main thoroughfare in the ancient city of Suzhou. The museum is designed with one underground floor and two above-ground floors.

On the first floor, there is a large exhibition hall covering an area of 800 square meters, while six smaller exhibition halls ranging from 300 to 400 square meters are distributed across the first and second floors. The museum also features a multifunctional academic lecture hall, a climate-controlled storage room, a public gallery, and a medium-sized theater. Additionally, it includes functional spaces such as meeting rooms, grading rooms, event planning rooms, dance training rooms, and art creation rooms.

The museum is open to the public all year round from Tuesday to Sunday, 09:00 to 16:00; it is closed all day on Mondays.
