The newly established Suzhou Art Museum is located to the northwest of Beisi Pagoda, facing Renmin Road to the east, and bordering the banks of Taohua River to the west, with the boundary marked by the Xiaochang Bridge Road to the north. It stands as a new cultural landmark on the northern section of Renmin Road, a main artery of the ancient city of Suzhou. The museum is divided into one underground floor and two above-ground floors. On the first floor, there is a large exhibition hall covering an area of 800 square meters, and six smaller exhibition halls ranging from 300 to 400 square meters are scattered across the first and second floors. The museum also features a multifunctional academic lecture hall, temperature and humidity-controlled storage rooms, a public gallery, and a medium-sized theater. In addition, it includes functional spaces such as meeting rooms, grading rooms, event planning rooms, dance training rooms, and art studios. The museum is open all year round from Tuesday to Sunday, 09:00-16:00; closed on Mondays.
