The Suzhou Celebrity Museum is located in the southwest of the plot of Suzhou Public Cultural Center. It has a building area of 2,368 square meters and an exhibition area of 1,500 square meters. The entire museum showcases 447 celebrities in Suzhou. The exhibition hall is divided into the preface hall, overview hall, hall from pre-Qin to Song and Yuan dynasties, hall of Ming Dynasty, hall of Qing Dynasty, hall of number one scholars and prime ministers, and hall of academicians. The exhibition methods fully adopt a variety of artistic expression techniques and multimedia technical means that combine tradition and modernity to show the profound influence of Suzhou’s cultural heritage and Suzhou celebrities on Suzhou’s history and even Chinese history.
