The Suzhou Dongwu Museum’s temporary exhibition hall features four halls and one corridor, namely the Thousand Mirrors Hall, Celadon Porcelain Chamber, Bronze Charm of Wu, Collection of Antiquities Hall, and the Chinese Stone Sculpture Art Corridor. The collection on display is provided by the collector Mr. Chen Fengjiu, comprising over 2400 pieces across nine series including bronze mirrors, celadon, stone carvings, bronze ware, Tang Sancai, ancient pottery, purple sand, Tang and Song porcelain, and ancient art. The collection spans various historical periods in China, with a broad cultural range and high aesthetic value.
Among the exhibits, more than a hundred representative artifacts such as the King of Wu’s bronze mirror, King of Wu’s sword, King of Yue’s sword, bronze handle pot, and the Wu State’s mirror basin, highlight the exquisite craftsmanship of the ancient Wu people and the long-standing Wu culture.
The museum is open all year round, from Tuesday to Sunday, 09:00 to 17:00.
