The Suzhou Kunqu Opera Theater is located near Taohuawu and the former residence of Tang Bohu. In recent years, the successive Kunqu masterpieces “The Peony Pavilion” and “The Palace of Eternal Life” have made the reputation of the Suzhou Kunqu Opera Theater resound again. There is also the Lanyun Theater inside the theater. There are not many performances. It is usually used for rehearsals by the troupe. Opening hours: Open from 09:00 to 22:00 all year round.
