Suzhou Sunsail Sailing Club is located on the banks of Suzhou Bay in Dongtai Lake, which is a ‘national AAAA-level tourist attraction’ and ‘Jiangsu provincial-level ecotourism resort’. The environment is beautiful and the water resources are of high quality. It can accommodate up to 200 people to carry out water sports projects at the same time. Adhering to the service concept of ‘Enjoying, Competing and Living in Style’, the club regularly carries out water tourism projects mainly centered on sailing, including sailing tours of Suzhou Bay, parent-child water sports experience (sailing, paddleboarding, kayaking, rubber boats, catamarans, etc.), corporate water expansion activities, and youth sailing training camps. In addition, in order to further expand the ability and influence of inland cities in undertaking water sports, and use the driving force of Suzhou and Wu culture to innovate and upgrade water sports and improve the quality of citizens’ waterfront life, the club has successfully organized various business school sailing races and corporate sailing races and other professional-scale events many times. And it has gradually developed into a sailing project training base for a series of business schools such as Tongji University EMBA, Cheung Kong Graduate School of Business, Antai College of Economics and Management EMBA, Guanghua School of Management, Xiamen University EMBA and domestic universities. At the same time, the club has also been awarded the ‘Training Base in East China Region of Sailingin Sailing School’ and the ‘Officially Certified Branch of American Sailing Association’. The Jiangsu Sailing and Windsurfing Sports Association has specially issued the ‘Jiangsu Youth Sailing Training Base’. Nearly a hundred sailing enthusiasts successfully obtain ASA certification every year. Starting from the club and relying on the high-quality water conditions of Suzhou Bay, taking tourism as the norm, taking events as the starting point, and taking training as the consolidation, it is gradually built into a waterfront sports and lifestyle tourism circle with Suzhou cultural IP characteristics.
