Produced and performed by the National Theatre of China. The drama Lanling King, written by renowned playwright Luo Huaizhen and directed by renowned director Wang Xiaoying, is about to return to the stage of the National Theatre. It will be performed at the National Theatre Theatre from November 6th to 10th. Since its premiere in 2017, the drama Lanling King has not only toured in many domestic places such as Beijing, Shanghai, and Henan, but also been a frequent guest at major international drama festivals. The play has participated in the ‘Daliangshan International Drama Festival’, the ‘Toga International Theatre Olympics Festival’ in Japan, the ‘St. Petersburg International Cultural Forum’ in Russia, the ‘Chekhov Theatre Festival’ in Moscow, the ‘Cairo International Contemporary Experimental Theatre Festival’ in Egypt, and the ‘China-Greece International Theatre Festival’. Through high-quality performances, it promotes the exchange of Chinese and Western art and culture and shows the world the appearance of China’s excellent literary and artistic works. After four years, the drama Lanling King returns to Beijing and once again takes the stage at the National Theatre Theatre.
