Suzhou Taihu Garden Expo Park is located on the shore of Taihu Lake. With the theme of ‘Ink-washed Jiangnan, Garden Life’, it adheres to the purpose of ‘communication, demonstration, exploration, and innovation’. Based on the concept of integrating three gardens: ‘countryside expo park, Taihu landscape and rural area, and rural home’, it builds Jiangsu landscape gardens. Suzhou Taihu Garden Expo Park has planned six themed exhibition gardens, thirteen city exhibition gardens, two foreign city exhibition gardens and twelve themed exhibition halls. It also sets up a variety of horticultural and life interaction activities. Here, you can understand the different cultural characteristics of different cities. If you take the Ferris wheel in the park, you can also enjoy the beautiful scenery of Taihu Lake and learn about the history of Wuzhong from a high place.
Opening hours: From January 1st to November 19th, it is open from 08:30 to 17:00; on Sunday, November 20th, it is open from 12:00 to 17:00; from November 21st to December 31st, it is open from 08:30 to 17:00.
Preferential policies:
Children: Children under 1.4 meters (inclusive) can enter the park accompanied by an adult guardian or caregiver with valid documents for free. Children with a height between 1.4 meters (inclusive) and 1.6 meters (inclusive) enjoy half price.
The elderly: Elderly people aged 70 years old (inclusive) or above can enter the park for free with valid identity documents. It is recommended to be accompanied by immediate family members. Elderly people aged 60 years old (inclusive) to 69 years old (inclusive) can enter with valid identity cards and enjoy half price.
Disabled people: With disability certificates, they can enter for free.
Soldiers: Active-duty soldiers, disabled soldiers, and retired cadres can enter with soldier cards and officer cards for free.
Students: Full-time students can enter with student cards and enjoy half price.
