Suzhou Taihu Lake Bin National Wetland Park, also known as Taihu Park (Water Windmill), is a distinct wetland park separate from Suzhou Taihu National Wetland Park. Located adjacent to the Dongshan and Xishan scenic areas, it stretches 2 kilometers from the water windmill entrance of Taihu Landscape Avenue in the east to Taihu New World in the west, covering an area of approximately 5 square kilometers and serving as the core section of Taihu Landscape Avenue. The large water windmill standing by Taihu Lake is the park’s iconic attraction and an excellent spot for photography enthusiasts to capture the beauty of Taihu.
The park is composed of eight major scenic spots: Windmill Shadow, Pier Exploration, Leisure Double Pavilions, Eight Immortals Crossing the Sea, Seagulls and Egrets Returning, Reed Maze, Fishing Boats Singing at Dusk, and Sunset Listening to the Waves. It primarily serves as a habitat for birds and fish.
Opening Hours: The park is open all year round from 08:30 to 17:00.
Preferential Policies: Children under 1.4 meters in height (inclusive) or under 6 years old (inclusive) enter for free; minors aged between 6 and 18 years old (exclusive) enjoy discounts with valid identification. Elderly aged 70 years and above (inclusive) enter for free with an elderly card or ID; those aged between 60 and 70 years old (exclusive) enjoy discounts with an elderly card or ID. Disabled individuals enter for free with a disability card, and one accompanying person for severely disabled individuals is also free.
Additional Notes: Except for infants held in arms, all other boat passengers are required to pay.
