Nestled amidst natural wetlands, this scenic spot features a beautiful lake bay with reeds, lotuses, and water chestnuts, along with the sight of egrets soaring in the sky and the sounds of frogs and birds. Suzhou Taihu National Wetland Park is a harmonious blend of nature and culture, integrating ecological environment, vacation leisure, tourism, and educational functions into one original and fashionable leisure destination.
Emphasizing ‘nature, ecology, and wilderness’, the park incorporates elements of sightseeing, culture, leisure, and entertainment. It is designed with seven major functional areas: Wetland Fishery Experience Area, Wetland Exhibition Area, Wetland Ecological Habitat, Wetland Ecological Cultivation Area, Water Town Leisure and Recreation Area, Wetland Ecological Education Base, and Original Wetland Protection Area, showcasing the natural ecological landscape of a modern water-based pastoral scene.
