The True Color Art Museum, a non-profit art and cultural institution privately funded by Mr. Chen Hanxing and managed by a professional team, is primarily dedicated to promoting the experimental exploration of contemporary Chinese art. It actively attempts to transcend boundaries across various art forms, including painting, sculpture, installation, performance art, photography, video, architecture, design, and music.
Located by the canal and built along the water, the museum covers an area of 13 acres. Its main structure is composed of three interconnected cubes, with an exterior facade made of over a million blue bricks, creating a concave-convex pattern. The greyish-blue texture gives the building a restrained yet dynamic presence, harmoniously complementing the surrounding rivers, lakes, and residential areas.

The museum is functionally divided into distinct areas, including the entrance hall, thematic exhibition areas, video hall, office area, artist studios and apartments, member club, café, and art shop. The spaces are cleverly connected yet relatively independent, suitable for large exhibitions and thematic solo shows. The concept of environmental protection and ecology is prominently featured in the architectural philosophy, with extensive use of ancient wood and old bricks, making the entire building rustic and natural. Traditional elements are ingeniously combined with contemporary concepts here.

The museum is open all year round from Tuesday to Sunday, 10:00-17:00; closed all day on Mondays.
