Taibo Temple was constructed in memory of Taibo, the eldest son of the ancient Duke of Zhou (King Tai), with a history dating back to the Eastern Han Dynasty. It is one of the temples in the Jiangnan region that venerates Taibo, the progenitor of the Wu territory. The restored Taibo Temple covers a total area of 7492 square meters, divided into east and west routes.

The eastern route is the main path of Taibo Temple, dedicated to the worship of Taibo. The main hall, Zhi De Hall, primarily displays the statues of Taibo, Zhong Yong, and Ji Zhe.

The western route has been designated as the Wu Men Calligraphy Hall, showcasing a large collection of classic works from the ‘Wu Men School’ of the mid-Ming Dynasty.
