Taicang Modern Agricultural Park is approximately 50-60 kilometers away from Suzhou to the west and Shanghai to the south. The main entrance and visitor center of the agricultural park are located in the middle of the eastern side. The park features six pavilions (gardens), primarily for viewing plants, and also includes a resort. The best time to visit is from May to October. Many visitors to the agricultural park are families, making it suitable for the elderly as it is not tiring to explore.


Unique fruits and vegetables, and vibrant flowers are popular with children, and the occasional animals and amusement facilities can keep them entertained for hours. The Egret Garden Ecological Wetland Pavilion is located south of the visitor center, decorated to mimic a wetland environment with lush vegetation and home to parrots and golden fish. North of the visitor center, the Modern Agricultural Exhibition Hall showcases a variety of peculiar fruits and vegetables cultivated using advanced agricultural technologies, such as colorful peppers and giant pumpkins, which leave a lasting impression.


To the west of the agricultural hall is the Floral Horticulture Exhibition Hall, which houses numerous potted plants. The En Dian Rose Park, located in the northwest of the park, is an open-air venue where visitors can admire a variety of colorful roses. The Parent-Child Garden spans 260 acres and integrates ecological sightseeing, recreational experiences, and educational activities into one family-friendly amusement garden.


It features a hedge maze, cylindrical slides, pink sand pools, water bridges, and flower viewing areas, among other family-oriented amusement facilities. The garden also houses gentle and adorable animals such as peacocks, guinea pigs, Angora rabbits, kid goats, and koi fish. It also grows nearly ten varieties of fruit trees, including yellow peaches, waxberries, loquats, sweet persimmons, green pears, citrus fruits, and mulberries, totaling over a thousand trees.


The park cultivates a variety of flowers and ornamental plants according to different seasons, ensuring there is always something to see and admire throughout the year. Here, entertaining facilities and beautiful scenery allow parents and children to play, feed animals, and get close to nature, enhancing their bond and enjoying educational and recreational activities together. The park is open all year round from 08:45 to 17:00, with extended hours from 08:45 to 17:15 from May 1st to September 30th, with ticket sales and exchanges ending at 16:45.


From October 1st to April 30th of the following year, the park operates from 08:45 to 16:45, with ticket sales and exchanges ending at 16:15.
Favorable policies for children include free admission for children under 1.4 meters (inclusive) and discounted tickets for minors aged between 6 (exclusive) and 18 (inclusive). For the elderly, those aged 70 (inclusive) and above enjoy free admission with valid identification, while those aged between 60 (inclusive) and 70 (exclusive) receive half-price tickets.


Students with valid student IDs for full-time undergraduate and lower-level students receive discounted tickets. Disabled individuals and active-duty military personnel and retired military officers of the People’s Republic of China enjoy free admission with valid identification.
