Taihu Fishery Port is the residential area for the fishermen of Guangfu. Here, thousands of fishing boats are moored, and tens of thousands of masts stand tall. When the fishing season arrives, fishermen hoist their sails and head out to sea, creating a spectacular scene. In 2005, the first China (Suzhou) Taihu Fishing Festival opening ceremony was held here, encapsulating and recreating the fishing customs and culture of Taihu. Open all year round, accessible 24/7.
