Taihu Grottoes is located in Shengzhuang Village, Zhangzhu Town, Yixing City. It boasts a well-preserved natural Taihu stone sightseeing belt, cliff fireplaces, two ‘Asking Heaven’ roofs adorned with 40,000 peacock feathers, and three restored century-old kilns.
In addition to the beautiful scenery, the scenic area offers a variety of interesting activities such as go-karting, pottery, bamboo rafting, dry slide, archery, pot throwing, horse riding, bonfire parties, and cooking in large pots.
Operating hours are from 08:30 to 17:30 all year round.
Preferential policies: Children under 1.2 meters (not including) must be accompanied by an adult to enter for free; those between 1.2 meters (including) and 1.4 meters (not including) or aged between 6 (not including) and 18 (not including) can enter at half price with a valid ID. Students: Full-time primary, middle, and high school students can enter at half price with a valid student ID. Elderly: Elderly people aged 70 and above can enter for free with a valid ID or elderly card (must be accompanied by family members); those aged between 60 and 69 can enter at half price. Disabled: People with a disability card can enter for free with one accompanying caregiver. Military personnel: Active-duty military personnel can enter for free with an officer’s ID.
