The Taimu Mountain Chixi Gengleyuan Tourist Attraction is located in Chixi Village, Panxi Town, on the western foothills of Taimu Mountain. It is situated at the center of the Taimu Mountain (10 km away), Yangjiaxi (3 km away), and Jiulixi (2 km away) scenic areas. The attraction primarily encompasses six major leisure base projects: water sports (rafting, obstacle challenges), outdoor expansion (sand field training, jungle trekking), high-altitude expansion (high-altitude combination courses, zip lines), waterfall slides, leisure vacations, and fruit and vegetable picking.
The scenic area offers a series of farming experience projects, allowing visitors to engage in agricultural activities. It features over 120 beds in leisure accommodations such as log cabin villas, log cabin RVs, and log cabin tea houses. The Dabai Tea House Hotel can accommodate over 300 people simultaneously in its dining hall and private banquet rooms, providing comfortable conditions for tourism lodging, vacation stays, and conference gatherings.

Gengleyuan is located at the heart of the ‘Fairyland on the Sea’—Taimu Mountain—and its surrounding scenic areas including Yangjiaxi, Jiulixi, Xiashanxi, and Sanggui Lake. When you immerse yourself in this poetic and picturesque ‘Taimu Mountain Gengleyuan Cultural Village’—Chixi, you will immediately sense a unique blend of natural rusticity and modern civilization, a pastoral cultural utopia. It offers a pure land of ‘Gengle’ where humans and nature coexist, breathe together, and benefit longevity.

This was once the site of ‘Lihua Thatched Cottage,’ where Lin Song, the Tang Dynasty prefect of Jinzhou, retired in his later years, a cultural sanctuary where he expressed his passion for landscapes. This is also the famous ‘China’s First Poverty Alleviation Village,’ which once drew attention from Zhongnanhai 30 years ago—the birthplace of China’s poverty alleviation policies. Furthermore, it is the habitat of the living fossil known as the ‘giant panda of the water’—the peach blossom jellyfish.
