Taixing Park is located on the north side of the Rutai Canal and at both ends of Jichuan North Road, officially opened on May 28, 2003. The park covers an area of 230 acres, including 90 acres of water surface, divided into five functional areas: Ecological Archipelago Area, Water Activity Area, Cultural Memorial Area, Flower Landscape Area, and Leisure and Entertainment Area.
The Ecological Archipelago Area is situated on the north side of the park, where the islands are dominated by trees and grass with no decoration or artificial attractions, providing a feeling of returning to nature.
The Water Activity Area features a large water surface on the north side of the park, with activities such as driftwood cabins, leisure fishing, and boat shadows and oars, which can fully satisfy people’s affinity for water.
The Cultural Memorial Area is located on the west side of the central part of the park, with its main attraction being the Memorial Hall for the Martyrs of the Zhong’an Ferry Disaster. The hall was built by the provincial government to commemorate the 800 martyrs of the New Fourth Army’s Su-Zhe Military Region who perished during the retreat across the Yangtze River. This place serves as a venue for mourning and admiring revolutionary martyrs and is also a base for revolutionary traditional education.
The Flower Landscape Area is composed of scenic spots such as Ginkgo Slope, Plum Ridge, French Garden, Musical Fountain, Twin Pavilions, Wooden Pavilion, and Suspension Bridge.
The Leisure and Entertainment Area is located at the southern end of the park, consisting of a zoo and a children’s amusement park. The park is open all year round from 9:00 to 17:00.
