Taizhou Museum, situated in the Economic Development Zone, welcomed its first visitors in July 2016. The museum spans four floors, each with a distinct focus:
– The first floor is a temporary exhibition hall, offering a dynamic space for rotating displays.
– The second floor is home to the ‘Spirit of Mountains and Seas’ Taizhou Historical and Cultural Exhibition, showcasing the rich history and culture of the region.
– The third floor is dedicated to the ‘Affection for the Land’ Taizhou Folklore Exhibition, celebrating the local traditions and customs.
– The fourth floor features a special exhibition area for private collections, providing a unique perspective on art and artifacts.
Visitors to Taizhou Museum can enjoy free access to the basic exhibitions, with audio guides available in Chinese, English, Japanese, and Korean. Complimentary museum brochures are also provided for visitors’ convenience. To rent an audio guide, visitors can present their identification.

– The museum is closed all day on Mondays.
– From Tuesdays to Sundays, the museum is open from 09:00 to 16:30.
– On National Day, the museum is also open from 09:00 to 16:30.
