One of the Tang’s Eight Houses, originally named Baohetang. It features a large Ming Dynasty ‘Gamut Hall’ made of Nanmu wood, with a beam-raising structure and large moon-shaped beams. The entire wooden structure is meticulously crafted using Nanmu and Zilin wood. On the east corridor wall, there is a stone carving of ‘Baohe Hall Record’ written by Sun Shenxing, the Minister of Rites during the Ming Dynasty. Tang Jichuan, Tang Hewei, Tang Yushao, as well as Jinshi Zhuang Kai from the Kangxi era, the younger brother of the top scholar Qian Weicheng, Qian Weiqiao, and late Qing industrialist Zhang Zanchen, all lived here. Open all year round from Tuesday to Sunday, 09:30-17:30; closed all day on Mondays, and specific business status on legal holidays is subject to the actual opening conditions of the day.
