“Tap Seac Art Museum” is funded and managed by the Macao Cultural Affairs Bureau and opened on December 5, 2003. It was formerly the Contemporary Art Center of the Oriental Foundation. It is a distinctive building with two ancient wells in the interior and a large sky in the central part. Natural light shines into the house, forming a unique exhibition space. The exhibition area is 4,000 square feet, and the internal display panels can be adjusted according to the needs of the exhibition to display various aspects and different art forms. The venue also has three computers and an Internet area connected to the Internet, where art lovers can check art and cultural information.
The opening of the “Tap Seac Art and Cultural Center” adds a new art and cultural space to Macao. It is connected with the Macao Central Library and the Macao Historical Archives, forming a new cultural landscape in the Tap Seac area of the Dutch Garden.
