First Encounter with Changxing Island

In this season of crisp autumn air, I was fortunate to participate in a unique autumn harvest expansion and entertainment combination activity. The venue was the picturesque Changxing Island Tangerine Orchard Expansion Base. This trip not only allowed me to appreciate the beauty of nature but also deeply experience the power and joy of teamwork.
The journey to Changxing Island unfolds like a painting. This small island, located between Pudong and Chongming Island, is not far from downtown Shanghai, only an 18-minute drive away. Upon entering the Changxing Island Tangerine Orchard Expansion Base, the verdant greenery and golden tangerines hanging from the branches instantly lift one’s spirits, as if momentarily escaping the hustle and bustle of the city.
Team Building: Prelude to the Divine Tangerine Battle
The event kicked off with a whistle from the coach. First was the team-building segment where the coach randomly divided us into several teams and selected team leaders. Each team then actively designed their own formation, team slogan, and team flag, which were presented one by one amidst applause, instantly igniting the atmosphere.
Wisdom and Courage: The Challenge to Earn Divine Coins
As the event progressed, we reached the crucial stage of earning Divine Coins. Each team initially received 20 Divine Coins and competed for more through a series of challenging projects. The last team in each round had to give up 5 Divine Coins, while the first team was rewarded with 5 Divine Coins. This stage not only tested our wisdom and courage but also made us realize the importance of teamwork.
Teamwork: The Journey of Overcoming Obstacles
In ‘One in a Hundred’, we needed to catch the ‘Divine Tangerine’ from a distance of one meter with the help of our companions. This process was full of fun and challenges, with everyone brainstorming various methods to complete the task. In ‘Blessings of Tangerines’, two people per group could only pass tangerines with their heads, which not only tested our tacit understanding but also strengthened our bonds amidst laughter.
