Originally named Lingshun Temple, this temple is located on the top of Beigao Peak in Hangzhou. It was built in the Eastern Jin Dynasty. It is one of the ‘Five Spirits’ (Lingjiu, Lingyin, Lingfeng, Lingshun, and Lingshan) built by Huili, an eminent monk from India in Hangzhou. It has a history of more than 1,600 years. In the early years of the Northern Song Dynasty, because the temple enshrined the ‘Five Manifestations of Wealth God’, people began to call it the ‘Temple of Wealth God’. Since the Temple of Wealth God is located at the highest peak in Hangzhou, emperors and men of letters in past dynasties often visited it. Emperor Huizong of the Song Dynasty, Emperor Kangxi and Emperor Qianlong of the Qing Dynasty all inscribed inscriptions for it. According to folklore, the Temple of Wealth God is very efficacious, so many people come here to pray for blessings. In addition, on a clear day, on the platform of Beigao Peak to the east of Lingshun Temple, the surrounding mountains are in full view and the view is very wide. Opening hours: Open all year round from 7:30 to 17:00.
