The first floor serves as the main exhibition area, featuring four halls and one exhibition corridor. The second floor houses a reference room, an audio-visual room, offices, and a panorama exhibition hall. The museum is divided into five exhibition halls: ‘Canals on the Earth, The Grand Canal of China,’ ‘The Excavation and Changes of the Canal,’ and ‘Canal Culture.’ Each hall showcases and explains the rich natural and humanistic landscapes of the Grand Canal through a variety of media, including pictures, objects, and models.
